- **Event Description**: This event is the opposite of the Touch the River Run that takes place on New Year’s Day!  The event start time has been changed to 10:30 AM so those doing the monthly Downtown Grounds Coffee Run can come right over after coffee. 

We meet/start near Pettibone Beach, at boathouse H2 just past the beach.  We’ll run across the bridge, do a turn-around at the “Hoeschler Fountain”, return to boathouse H2, and keep going right off the end of the dock and into the river.  If you want…we won’t “push” you.  All paces are welcome!  

You can park anywhere in front of the boathouses.  C’mon down to boathouse H2 when you arrive, someone will be there by 10 AM.  There’ll be an assortment of cold drinks and snacks available after we return; if there’s something specific you’d like, please feel free to BYO.  Plan to stay and socialize!  (And then go volunteer at the Hixon 4Est RUD Run.  ?) 

The event is rain or shine (we’re gonna get wet anyway) UNLESS there’s lightning.  If that’s the case, we can still just hang out at the boathouse.
