- **Event Description**: The famed and internationally traveled University of Notre Dame Men’s Glee Club, the “Voice of the Fighting Irish”, under the direction of Daniel Stowe, and the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy Chamber Singers, under the direction of Julia Wood, will present a joint concert at St. Bede The Venerable Catholic Church, at 7pm on Saturday night, March 14, 2026.

The Notre Dame Glee Club is celebrating its 110th anniversary this year under the continued direction of Professor Stowe, now in his 23rd year leading the Glee Club. The Club’s membership is drawn from all courses of study at the University. Each year the Glee Club presents a wide-ranging repertory in several forms of concerts on campus and on tour, and on television and radio, as well as in dozens of informal performances at University events. The concert repertory customarily includes classical a capella music for men’s chorus, as well as folk songs, African-American spirituals, popular arrangements in a wide variety of styles, barbershop harmony, Irish songs and songs of Notre Dame.

The Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy Chamber Singers is a vibrant ensemble of 14 dedicated musicians in grades 9-12 under the direction of Ms. Wood, now in her 5th year leading the group, the Chamber Singers have cultivated a spirit of artistry, collaboration, and joyful expression. Through their heartfelt performances, they strive to uplift, inspire, and share the gift of music with the school community and beyond.
