- **Event Description**: Os invitamos a compartir con nosotros la experiencia única del raku, una antigua técnica japonesa para crear cerámica a través del fuegoAbout this EventUs convidem a compartir amb nosaltres l'experiència única del raku, una antiga tècnica japonesa per a la creació d'art ceràmic a través del foc.L'activitat us oferirà l'oportunitat de participar activament en aquesta tècnica, on cadascú tindrà la seva pròpia peça ceràmica pre-cuita, que podreu personalitzar i emportar-vos a casa.Però, què és el raku?El kanji raku significa "tranquil·litat", però també implica "diversió" i "felicitat".Aquesta tècnica implica la creació de peces úniques amb tonalitats, textures, matisos i colors que mai es repeteixen d'una peça a una altra. Les possibilitats van des de vermells metal·litzats fins a clivellats, nacrats i tornassols.El procés implica treballar les peces en un estat d'incandescència i exposar-les a materials com encenalls de fusta, fulles de diari o fulles seques d'arbres, cabells, entre altres. Això provoca la combustió d'aquests materials, generant una gran quantitat de fum que penetra a les peces, contribuint a la seva singularitat. Els esmalts (òxids) utilitzats en les peces ofereixen oxigen per a aquesta combustió, creant així un aspecte característic de la ceràmica raku. El procés es finalitza quan les peces es refreden ràpidament amb aigua.Qui som nosaltres?A KM0 treballem amb fang. Las posibilidades van desde rojos metalizados hasta craquelados, esmaltados y tornasoles.El proceso implica trabajar las piezas en un estado de incandescencia y exponerlas a materiales como virutas de madera, hojas de periódico o hojas secas de árboles, cabello, entre otros. Esto provoca la combustión de estos materiales, generando una gran cantidad de humo que penetra en las piezas, contribuyendo a su singularidad. Los esmaltes (óxidos) utilizados en las piezas ofrecen oxígeno para esta combustión, creando así un aspecto característico de la cerámica raku.El proceso se finaliza cuando las piezas se enfrían rápidamente con agua.¿Quiénes somos?En KM0 trabajamos con arcilla.
