Outdoor Explorations: La Jolla Kayak Tour

Join alumni and friends for an unforgettable tour of La Jolla Ecological Reserve, a Marine Protected Area that is home to a thriving underwater ecosystem that boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in all of California! Kayak through the underwater park to experience La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves, one of San Diego's coolest attractions. Watch sea lions sunbathe on the rocks and swim in the sanctuary. See the California state fish, the bright orange Garibaldi, swimming under your kayak in La Jolla Cove. On the way back, you'll have the chance to surf your kayak back to shore.

No matter your skill level, this is certain to be an enjoyable and exciting experience! Everyday California tours are suitable for almost everyone 5 years and older. No experience is needed to enjoy a kayak tour and safety is the primary concern. Everyday California's guides will have you paddling in no time.

The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. The tour will start at 11:20 am. Please, arrive no later than 30 minutes before the tour.

The kayaks are double kayaks, so you will be partnered with your guest if you register together. Any single registrants will be assigned a partner on the day of the kayak tour.
