今夏、京都文化博物館の極上の響きの中に、アカペラの真髄が展開します。
テーマは「共鳴と対峙」。
異なる背景を持つ名曲たちが、互いの輪郭を鮮やかに浮かび上がらせます。
社会の苦悩と救済を描いたティペットの《われらが時代の子》。その核心である「黒人霊歌」を、バッハの《マタイ受難曲》と対置させることで、時代を超えて通底する「受難と祈り」を表現します。

後半は、二つの対照的なミサ曲を。
シューベルトが描いた素朴で敬虔な「ドイツ・ミサ」と、フランク・マルタンが紡いだ峻厳かつ神秘的な「二重合唱のためのミサ」。
この対照的な二作を通じて、時空を超えて広がる精神の旅へと誘います。
