　2024年6月、イスラエル国防軍(IDF)現役兵士からの宿泊予約について、現在パレスチナ・ガザ地区においてIDFの戦争行為が戦争犯罪を犯しており、過酷な攻撃による虐殺行為に加担することになる事を危惧した当時のホテル支配人が当該人物に宿泊予約のキャンセルを依頼し、その後本人が合意して予約が解消に至りました。
　そのことをとらえてネット上での誹謗中傷・支配人の個人情報の晒上げが始まり、駐日イスラエル大使が「国籍差別」と事実を捻じ曲げて「処分」を求める文書を会社に送り付け、京都市が「旅館業法違反」として「行政指導」を行うという事態に至りました。
　その中で、支配人は「業務命令に従わなかった」として不当解雇されました。
　この不当解雇撤回を求める裁判の調停協議が不調に終わり、原告本人尋問、被告側常務尋問、被告側社長尋問、原告側証人尋問が行われます。
　今回は101大法廷での審議となります。多くのみなさんの傍聴を呼びかけます。

　In June 2024, regarding a hotel reservation made by an active-duty soldier in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the hotel manager at the time, concerned that the IDF’s military operations in the Gaza Strip constituted war crimes and that the soldier would be complicit in massacres resulting from brutal attacks, requested that the soldier cancel the reservation. The soldier subsequently agreed, and the reservation was canceled.
　This incident sparked online defamation and the public exposure of the manager’s personal information. The Israeli Ambassador to Japan sent a letter to the company demanding “disciplinary action,” distorting the facts by labeling it “discrimination based on nationality,” and the City of Kyoto issued “administrative guidance” citing a “violation of the Hotel Business Act.”
　Amidst this, the manager was unfairly dismissed on the grounds of “failing to follow work orders.”
The mediation proceedings in the lawsuit seeking the reversal of this unfair dismissal have failed, and the following hearings will take place: examination of the plaintiff, examination of the defendant’s managing director, examination of the defendant’s president, and examination of the plaintiff’s witnesses.
This hearing will be held in Courtroom 101. We strongly encourage as many people as possible to attend.
