# Event Details - **Event Name**: Walk the Sky, Watch the Sunrise & Explore Cheongsong Ice Valley - **Event Start and End Date**: Mon, 16 Feb, 2026 at 11:00 pm - **Event Description**: Let’s enjoy the thrilling “walkable roller coaster” experience at Space Walk and welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse with a breathtaking sunrise. Known as Korea’s largest walkable art installation, Space Walk is a futuristic steel structure soaring into the sky, offering panoramic views of Pohang’s cityscape as well as Yeongil Beach and Yeongil Bay. Walking along its curves feels like stepping into space itself. We then head to Homigot Sunrise Square, the easternmost point of the Korean Peninsula and one of the most famous places in Korea to watch the New Year’s first sunrise. As the sun rises over the East Sea, the sky fills with unforgettable colors. The iconic Hands of Harmony sculpture symbolizes Sangsaeng—coexistence and peaceful living—adding deeper meaning to the sunrise experience. After enjoying the sunrise, we’ll spend some relaxed time along the beach, exploring the shoreline and nearby cafés. Next, we visit Cheongsong Eoreumgol Ice Valley, a rare natural phenomenon where cold air rises from rocky crevices, creating ice even in the height of summer. Surrounded by dramatic stone formations and pristine forest, the valley offers a cool, refreshing walk and a peaceful escape into nature. This journey beautifully combines modern art, coastal scenery, and unique natural landscapes—blending Space Walk’s futuristic design, Homigot’s symbolic sunrise, and the cool serenity of Eoreumgol into a perfectly balanced and memorable trip.
