Queerthentic is back for 2026, inviting LGBTQIA+ artists living and creating in regional areas to submit their work for this celebrated regional art prize.
Presented by Macedon Ranges Accessible Arts Inc, Queerthentic champions authenticity, visibility and diverse queer voices, providing a supportive and affirming platform for artists living in Regional Settings
✨ What to expect:
• A professionally curated exhibition at The Old Auction House, Kyneton
• $2,000 worth of prizes
• A welcoming, inclusive space that celebrates queer creativity and lived experience
• Opportunities for connection, visibility and community
🎨 Who can apply:
LGBTQIA+ artists based in regional areas, working across a broad range of artistic practices including painting, photography, mixed media and experimental forms.
