Community Outreach Center Fundraiser

Firefly Bookstore is pleased to be supporting this KU service group with a weekend fundraiser. Purchase books in the store on November 15th and 16th, and 15% of Firefly's sales will be donated to them for their upcoming program for Hurricane relief.

The Community Outreach Center, located in the McFarland Student Union 281, is the Kutztown University hub for student-focused community service and social advocacy work. The Center promotes mutually beneficial collaborations between the university and the Lehigh/Berks County communities and beyond. Through education, community connections and other resources, the Center prepares students for responsible and effective civic engagement and leadership.

The fundraiser is going towards their "Alternative Spring Break" Trip which they hold every year. The fundraising will support their volunteer efforts.
