- **Event Description**: Island residents are invited to join Churches from all over the Cape Fear area that are coming to Kure Beach for a Worship Celebration and Baptism on September 28th @ 4 pm. Kure Beach FBC’s Worship Team will start the celebration with some worship songs, followed by a Coral Group comprised of some of the best vocalists in the Cape Fear area. The celebration will continue onto the ocean front, north of the Pier, with multiple baptism locations for people getting baptized that day. The public are welcome to attend this celebration. People interested in being baptized that day please contact Pastor Andrew Matthews of Kure Beach First Baptist Church to make arrangements: (910) 458-5074.
