🎭 Musical 【Nan Kong】Malaysia Debut Concert
《南孔》史诗音乐剧 · 马来西亚首演
"Nan Kong", China’s first original musical themed on Southern Confucian culture, will make its Malaysia debut on October 28, 2025 at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, Kuala Lumpur.
The story follows Kong Zhu, the 53rd-generation direct descendant of Confucius, who upheld and passed down Confucian values during the Yuan Dynasty. Jointly produced by Quzhou City in Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang Performing Arts Group, the musical has toured over 40 cities across China, with more than 100 performances to date.
Blending immersive traditional Chinese aesthetics with emotions that transcend time, Nan Kong has earned wide acclaim since its premiere, praised as “a timeless echo of Confucian spirit.” It’s not just a cultural and audiovisual feast, but also a contemporary expression of enduring Chinese values.
