📢🎉 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – WORLD TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 😍🎉
The Malaysia Kukkiwon Taekwondo Association (MKTA) proudly presents the World Taekwondo Championship 2025, organized with the full support of Jabatan Sukan DBKL and the Kuala Lumpur Sports Club (founded in 1952).
✨ We are honored that Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, through its Jabatan Sukan DBKL, will serve as the official host, together with the Official Korea Taekwondo Moo Duk Kwan Association (KTMA) as our official international body for this prestigious championship.
📅 Date: 28 – 30 November 2025
📍 Venue: Arena Sukan Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Ayer Jerneh, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur
🌍 This global championship will unite Taekwondo athletes from across the world—including the USA, Korea, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and many more—showcasing the discipline, respect, and excellence of Taekwondo.
🔥 A true Taekwondo legend will also be joining us — Grandmaster Dragon Kim, 9th Dan Black Belt, with over 50 years of experience, who has taught self-defense to the Korean Police and the US Army. He represents KTMA and will be coming to Malaysia specially for this championship.
This historic event will not only strengthen international sporting ties but also reinforce MKTA’s reputation as a hub for martial arts and sporting excellence in a right path.
