金馬獎最佳紀錄片《由島至島》由定居台灣的馬來西亞導演廖克發執導，聚焦日據時期台灣與馬來亞於二戰期間的歷史記憶。

這場座談會旨在讓本地公眾有機會跟導演以及兩地的歷史學者進行交流，深入探討二戰的歷史敘事，重新思考過往和現今之關係。
