Nordfyns Kendo Club invites you to our first Winter Camp 2026 in Bogense Hallerne, Denmark where we once again have the great honour of receiving a visit from the renowned Japanese master Toru Kamei (8th Dan Hanshi).

After our great success with Kamei-sensei visiting during the Summer Camp 2018, and with the ongoing contact and Kamei-sensei's great wish to come to Denmark again, we have finally succeeded in making it happen and this time in winter!

We therefore hope that many of you will be interested and participate in this special weekend camp in the winter of 2026.

Toru Kamei was born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1954 and has, through an impressive career, achieved top results in both national and international championships - including the All Japan Kendo Championships, the World Kendo Championships and several Japanese police championships. He has previously served as chief instructor for the Kumamoto Prefectural Police and is currently an instructor at Shiozawa Kendo Club.

His experience and passion for Kendo make him a unique guest instructor, and we look forward to once again learning from one of the world's best.

The Winter Camp is held in the same spirit and with the same approach as our popular summer camps with a focus on training, technique, community, and development.
