An drei November-Wochenenden (7.-9., 14.-16. und 21.-23. November) verwandelt sich die historische Burgruine Aggstein in eine festliche Winterkulisse. 
Über 70 Aussteller präsentieren im Rittersaal und auf dem Mittelaltermarkt vor der Burg handgefertigtes Kunsthandwerk – perfekt für besondere Weihnachtsgeschenke. ?

Die Burgruine wird von Fackeln erleuchtet, der Duft von Glühwein und gebrannten Mandeln liegt in der Luft und sogar die Alpakas sind dabei! ??

Für eine bequeme Anreise steht ein Shuttle-Service zur Verfügung.

NEU: Die Bustickets werden weiterhin auf unserem Parkplatz in Aggstein verkauft. Die Tickets für den Burgadvent bieten wir ab heuer direkt auf der Burg an. 4 Ticketschalter garantieren kürzere Wartezeiten. 

WICHTIG! Bei einigen Ausstellern können Sie auch mit Karte zahlen - bei den meisten aber nicht. Daher bitte ausreichend Bargeld mitnehmen. Die nächstgelegenen Bankomaten sind in Melk, Gansbach  bzw. Mautern.

Wir ersuchen, von der Mitnahme von Hunden zur Veranstaltung abzusehen. Aufgrund von Programmpunkten wie Feuerwerk und Musik ist die Umgebung für Tiere nicht geeignet. Wir danken für Ihr Verständnis.

Experience the magic of Advent at one of the most enchanting places in the Wachau Valley!

For three weekends in November (November 7–9, 14–16, and 21–23), the historic ruins of Aggstein Castle will transform into a festive winter wonderland.

More than 70 exhibitors present handmade arts and crafts in the Knight’s Hall and the medieval market in front of the castle – perfect for finding unique Christmas gifts. ?

NEW: Bus tickets are still available at the Aggstein parking area. Event tickets for Burg Advent can now be purchased directly at the castle – with 4 ticket counters to ensure shorter waiting times.

⚠️ Important: Some exhibitors accept card payments, but most only take cash. Please bring enough cash with you. The nearest ATMs are in Melk, Gansbach, and Mautern.

? We kindly ask visitors not to bring dogs to the event. Due to program highlights such as fireworks and music, the environment may be stressful for animals. Thank you for your understanding.
