𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗔 is a journey to the shared origins of tango and its contemporary forms. The name Subterra refers to what lies underground - where roots meet before growing in different directions above the surface. Set within hidden historical locations of Kraków, SUBTERRA invites dancers to move through the city’s layers - and through tango itself.

Through immersive audiovisual projections by Tanguerilla Visual Poetry, light and sound expand the dance floor into a multi-sensory experience. Tanguerilla is a DJ and Visual Artist from Bremen - Germany, creator of the internationally known Neo Tango Rave event, which fills up every year within the first hours. After nearly eight years, he returns to Poland to bring his visual poetry to the dance floor.

Sama nazwa odwołuje się do tego, co pozostaje pod ziemią: miejsca, w którym wszystko splata się ze sobą, zanim ponad powierzchnią rozwinie się w różnych kierunkach. Osadzona w historycznych, nieoczywistych przestrzeniach Krakowa, SUBTERRA prowadzi przez kolejne warstwy miasta, muzyki i samego tanga.

Immersyjne projekcje audiowizualne autorstwa Tanguerilla Visual Poetry wprowadzają do tej podróży światło, obraz i ruch, zamieniając wybrane milongi w wielozmysłowe doświadczenie. Tanguerilla - DJ i VJ z Bremy - jest twórcą słynnego Neo Tango Rave'u - wydarzenia które co roku osiąga pełne obłożenie w ciągu pierwszych godzin. Po niemal ośmiu latach wraca do Polski, by ponownie wnieść swoją wizualną poezję na parkiet.
