Join us as Alicja Wojciechowska (Sano Centre for Computational Medicine, PhD student at Wrocław University of Science and Technology) explores intriguing connections between gut bacteria and neurodegeneration.
Her talk will discuss how bacterial functional amyloids, structurally similar to toxic protein aggregates seen in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, might act as key players in the gut-brain axis.
