Junior Ranger Day

Earn a badge on Junior Ranger Day!

Every kid can be a Junior Ranger at Big Thicket National Preserve. It's free and all ages are welcome.

Stop by the visitor center between 10 am and 2 pm for fun, free, family-friendly activities:

-See park ranger and firefighter vehicles
-Navigate a trail with a map activity
-Earn a junior ranger badge (several different badges and activity books available!)
-And more!
