Ye Banished Privateers are back!
After their amazing performance last year, they will bring the pirate folk once again to DVG Club in Kortrijk, this time with a new album – ‘Til the Sea Shall Give up Her Dead!

Hoist the Black Flag! YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS take no prisoners. These loose merger of sea faring ruffians will take you back into the cruel world of the early 18th century. Be prepared for rough times where pirates dominated the seven seas. Grounded in Irish and Scandinavian folk as well as raw punk energy, and armed to the teeth with fiddles, banjos, accordions and drums, this crew brew hard-hitting sea chanties of survival and struggles at sea, and a never-ending defiance of the oppressive crown.

Expect to dance and sweat like Ol’ Nick rode your back when this pack of tricorned rags start playing. Smoky gullets and angelic tunes join as they bring you on a journey to a long forgotten age of piracy.
