- **Event Description**: Taking inspiration from Santanu Debnath’s pensive depiction of ponds, rivers, and reservoirs in his art, this workshop by Emami Art in collaboration with KCC will begin with a music-infused dramatic reading of illustrated children’s books on waterbodies, and will then engage the participants in an art and storytelling activity inspired by those stories and Debnath’s artworks.  This workshop, facilitated by theatre practitioner, musician, and educator Ruchira Mukherjee, is a public-facing programme under Morphology of Water: A Project by Santanu Debnath – a solo exhibition at Emami Art on view till 18 October 2025. We offer the young cohort a rich opportunity to learn about the climate concerns surrounding waterbodies, study relevant children’s literature, and apply them with empathy in their own creative practice.
