Orobas is a blackened death metal band hailing from Dhaka, Bangladesh and is currently located in Kolding, Denmark. The band was formed by the drummer Hephaestus in Dhaka, Bangladesh in early 2015. They released their debut EP, Arise In Impurity, in 2016. The lyrical theme of the band is based on Occult, Mythology and Anti-religion. Hephaestus moved to Denmark in 2019 to pursue higher education and relocated Orobas to Kolding. Orobas released a single, Rise Thy Unholy, in the end of 2019 and their second EP, Resplendent Realms of the Mahatala, in 2021, recorded in August 2019 with the lineup consisting of Hephaestus and Beleth, where Desekrator laid the hymns as a guest. After relocation the band has recruited a couple of new members and released a Single titled ''Upholding the Asuric Traditions'' which is also available on CD along with a Mayhem cover as a bonus track. Now they are working on a LP which is due to be released very soon.
