West African Drumming Workshop w/Shamaniacs Drum Troupe!

Join us for a West African drum workshop in harmony and unison upstairs at Sunspot on Sat Nov 15th from 1-6 pm.

The Shamaniacs Drum Troupe has been performing and teaching for over 25 years.
During this event we will learn how to hold our drums, hit our drums, and correct hand techniques. We will also be learning and performing 6 different rhythms!

These ancient West African rhythms represent celebrating the magic of joy within the cycles of life. We will learn the meaning of the rhythms & why they are celebrated. We will be exploring the Djembe and the Dunun drums.

All levels are welcome! If you don’t have a drum, we will have extra. (First come first served)
