Join Ranger Stephanie for an easy stroll down Bobwhite ADA Trail at Seven Islands to the island where we'll watch the sunset over the French Broad River. The beauty of the sunset will be enjoyed from the bridge/island area. Participants will learn about the history of the park and the work that park staff do year-round to make Seven Islands a great place for wildlife and visitors. Participants will learn about the wildlife and plants along the trails. The total distance of the hike will be approximately 2.25 miles and will be on both paved and unpaved trails. We'll listen and look for birds making their final flights and songs for the day. Participants should plan on meeting Ranger Stephanie at the Bluebird Barn by the main entrance off Kelly Lane by 7:45pm. Registration is $8.00 per person.
