Join us on January 31, 2026 from 6:00-9:30pm at Rothchild Catering & Conference Center for the 2026 Snowflake Ball benefitting the CAC Office on Aging's Senior Companion Program! Each ticket includes entrance into the ball, dinner and desert, drink tickets, and access to the silent auction.
The Senior Companion Program provides limited-income older adults with an opportunity for meaningful volunteer experience. In turn, they provide companionship and in-home support to lonely, isolated, and homebound older adults in Knox County, all at no cost.
Senior Companions provide:
-Companionship
-In-home support
-Light meal preparation
-Shopping assistance
-Respite for family caregivers
-Positive social interaction
Senior Companions assist:
-Isolated older adults
-Individuals in hospice care
-Individuals suffering from memory loss
-Older adults battling chronic conditions
-Individuals recovering from surgery, cancer treatment, dialysis, and other health conditions
-Caregivers suffering exhaustion and burnout
