Start your Ijams W**d Warriors Native Landscape Certification journey! This required, 1.5 hour workshop will cover what you need to know about invasive species for Level 1 of this program. We'll take a deep-dive into four key invasives, Chinese privet, English ivy, bush honeysuckle, and winter creeper, from their origins and histories to removal techniques, as well as other instances of invasive species and their devastating impact on our local ecosystems. All participants MUST complete an Assumption of Risk Form prior to participation in the program: ijams.org/waiver Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. If you have been issued a yearly membership or parking pass, you're all set!
