Join the Historic House Museums of Knoxville on the Mabry-Hazen House lawn for a free outdoor movie night featuring The Goonies, presented by Pellissippi State Community College!

A tight-knit group of kids discovers a pirate's treasure map and embarks on a journey to find the riches that could save their homes from foreclosure in this 1985 adventure comedy. See actor Sean Austin before he became a hobbit, and Ke Huy Quan in his second role after Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

From coming-of-age adventures to classic comedies, each historic house museum will screen a different film throughout September. Audiences will enjoy the movie while taking in the unique landscapes of our historic sites.

Admission is FREE for each movie, but donations are greatly appreciated to support each museum’s preservation mission. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, or other items to lounge comfortably on the lawn. 

Concessions will be available for purchase.
