- **Event Name**: Knox County Public School Strong Open House
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 18 Apr, 2026 at 02:00 pm – Sat, 18 Apr, 2026 at 04:00 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: Are you concerned about parent responsibility zones, school funding going to vouchers, or legislation targeting immigrant students? Then join us on Saturday, April 18th to learn more about these and other policies that impact our local public schools, how your elected officials have been voting on these crucial matters, and ways we can make our voices heard. There will be free childcare with trained KCS staff, crafts provided by Cattywampus Puppet Council, light refreshments, and great conversation with neighbors, including how to take action.

We can build power if we come together. Now is the time to educate ourselves on what is happening locally and in our state, understand where the power resides, and how to use our voices to move it. We invite all concerned teachers and school staff, parents, and community members to join us.

Please RSVP and share widely!
