- **Event Description**: This is an inclusive drop-in 90 minute class that covers the basics of partnered social dancing including lead and follow, dance etiquette, basic rhythm, and some patterns. Each week we will cover a different dance. The first 45 minutes of class we will introduce and cover fundamentals and basic patterns of each dance together. For the last 45 minutes of class we will split into two groups. Beginners will be able to practice, while experienced students are taught more advanced patterns, technique, and styling.

Schedule:
Waltz - August 4th, September 15th, October 27th, December 8th
Swing - August 11th, September 22nd, November 3rd, December 15th
Foxtrot - August 18th, September 29th, November 10th, December 22nd
Rumba - August 25th, October 6th, November 17th
Tango - September 1st, October 13th, November 24th
Cha Cha - September 8th, October 20th, December 1st

No experience is required, and no partner is required. Dance shoes or high heels are NOT required. All students will learn both dance roles (lead and follow). Gendered language is NOT used, and ALL are welcome, so come as you are. The suggested cost of this class is $15 per student, however no one will be turned away due to inability to pay full price.

Parking at Broadway Academy of Performing Arts is located in the rear of the building on Lamar Street. Street parking is also available.
