(Register Jan 1-Feb 19; Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, Sat 9 to 5; Fri 9-8; Sunday closed. Phone 814-797-5253. Registration fee $10.00 You will received a number card. Each participant must register for this hunt. When hunting in groups, each member must be registered or the entrie group will be disqualified. All coyotes must be weighed in at Sportsmen Outfitters by 5 pm on Feb 22. Sportsmens Outfitters will be open on Feb 22 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Coyotes may be weighed in - Friday Feb 20 from 9:00 am to 8 pm; Saturday Feb 21 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Sunday Feb 22 from 3 pm to 5 pm. The person that killed the coyote must take and properly dispose of the dead coyote. The winners will be announced at 5 pm, Sunday Feb 22. Any winnings not collected by the next hunt will go to that years prize money. Coyotes must be harvested the days and times of the hunt. Coyotes must be taken leagally. Participants must have a valid PA Hunting license or furthers license and registration card. Coyotes may be harvested anywhere in the State of Pennsylvania. Any legal method can be used to harvest coyotes. The Clarion County Rod and Gun Club reserves the right to have an autopsy performed on the coyote if they suspect that the coyote was kept in a pen or was taken illegally or weight added. The decision of the Clarion County Rod and Gun Club will be final. Any violation of the PA Game Laws and Rules of the hunt will result in that person and or group being disqualified. Prizes to be awarded for harvest of coyotes: Award for each coyote harvested is based on the number of coyotes harvested. If no coyotes are harvested the money will be saved for next years hunt. If only 1 coyotes is harvested, this person will get all of the prize pot. If only 2 coyotes are harvested - 1st heaviest 60% of the pot; 2nd heaviest 40% of the pot; If 4 or more coyotes are harvested - 1st heaviest 35% of the pot; 2nd heaviest 25% of the pot; 3rd heaviest 20% of the pot. The remaining 20% of the p ot will be split evenly between the remaining hunters that harvested a coyote.
