Learn from local experts about practical strategies for starting effective conversations with youth, protective factors every family should understand, and local resources available to help everyone navigate these challenges together. This workshop will feature an educational short film from Songs for Charlie, presentations and panels by youth and experts who understand what families are facing, and an open discussion and Q&A session to address your specific concerns with local experts. We will even have limited but free Naloxone/Narcan kits available: a safe and life-saving medication that rapidly reverses an opioid overdose, which you will learn how to administer during the event!
