Seine Mitglieder sind hervorragende Musiker, Absolventen der Konservatorien von Chișinău,
Republik Moldau, Odessa, Kiew, Lemberg, St. Petersburg und Moskau.
Der Hauptdirigent und Künstlerische Leiter des Orchesters ist der Komponist Gh. Mustea, Volkskünstler und Preisträger des Staatspreises.
