Na tomto retreatu budeme jemně zkoumat, jak umírání skutečně vypadá a jaké to je.
Společně budeme naslouchat reálným lidským příběhům z různých fází umírání. Mohou nám nabídnout oporu a ukázat cestu, jak nahlédnout za oponu strachu – k většímu porozumění a soucitu.
Pod vedením Duly pro umírající Dr. Marthy Jo Atkins a inspirováni jejím výcvikem „Mapa umírání™" a „Jazyk umírání" se naučíme, jak držet prostor sami sobě i druhým, když procházíme touto hlubokou krajinou ztráty, pouštění a přirozeného procesu umírání.
Skrze příběhy a příklady osvětlíme fyzické, emoční a duchovní proměny, které při umírání nastávají – kéž dokážeme rozpoznat krásu a lidskost, které jsou v těchto zkušenostech přítomné.
Věnujeme také čas reflexi vlastních ztrát – prozkoumáme, jak naše osobní příběhy formují naše pohledy na konec života. Když si uvědomíme, jak minulá ztráta zabarvuje náš pohled, vytváříme prostor pro jemnější a soucitnější porozumění.
Kdo je Dr.Martha Jo Atkins -
je dula pro umírající, licencovaná terapeutka, výzkumnice, autorka a lektorka, která se již více než 30 let pohybuje v krajinách vědomého umírání, ztráty a přechodu. Pracuje s jednotlivci, rodinami i profesionály z oblasti zdravotnictví, terapie a duchovní péče – s těmi, kdo se smrti nebojí podívat do očí a chtějí v ní hledat víc než jen konec.

Amidst the beauty of our retreat center, we’ll build a heart-centered community where laughter and tears are equally welcome. There will be time to rest, reflect, and support one another as we unpack the realities of dying and the impact of our own grief stories.
