?Confessions of a New Year’s Resolution Addict ?

? Does this sound like a past new year’s resolution?

✅ Join a gym.
✅ Make plans to go 3-4 days per week.
✅ Don’t make it there once.
✅ Decide you’ll walk daily instead.
✅ Don’t walk.
✅ Resolve that this year is definitely going to be the year you change.
✅ Change nothing.
✅Decide to go “Keto”
✅Go off this eating plan after 1.5 days.
✅ Feel badly when the gym deducts your monthly dues.
✅ Tell yourself how busy you are.
✅ Cook a bunch of healthy food on Sunday night and by Wednesday you’re eating out again.
✅ Convince yourself you look just fine.
✅ Roll your eyes.
✅ Force yourself to go to the gym. Wander around a little bit then default to walking on the treadmill. Leave after 27 minutes.
✅ Don’t go again. Kids are disappointed. Spouse gets frustrated.
✅ Feel your “big pants” get tighter.
✅Tell yourself “never again”.
✅ Admit you lied.
✅ Throw your hands up and mull over what to do next…
