You will learn about the components of a hive, how to select equipment that is right for you, how a bee colony lives, how to use beekeeping tools and protective gear, and how to acquire and begin managing your own bee colonies. (No live bees used during this class. You are welcome to attend our future hands-on field days in apiaries at no cost in the future.)
