Orkney Waders Workshop

After this year's successful 'waves and waders' photography workshop in collaboration with the talented Norwegian wildlife photographer Espen Helland I'm delighted to announce we will be running the trip again in 2026. Next year however sees us focus solely on wading birds on the beautiful island of Sanday where we will be based at the luxury accommodation at Backaskaill run by Orkney Retreats.

This year's workshop treated us to some great close-up encounters with flocks of Sanderling, Purple Sandpiper, Turnstones and Bar tailed godwits on stunning white beaches.
