Dorothy has spent the past seven years working with cacao, including four years living in Guatemala, learning from cacao farmers, Mayan communities, women's collectives, and traditional wisdom keepers. She is the co-founder of Cacao Source, a direct-trade ceremonial cacao company rooted in reciprocity and respect for the original stewards of this plant medicine.Cacao can support feelings of openness, presence, and connection. Together we will use this practice as a way to arrive more fully in our bodies and create a shared atmosphere of trust and care.Throughout the evening, Dorothy will weave in somatic practices that help participants connect with their nervous systems, release tension, and cultivate greater self-awareness. These simple yet powerful tools can help us move through life with more resilience, groundedness, and choice.Rose will guide a live sound journey, drawing from years of study in music, prayer, and traditional songs from cultures around the world. Through voice and sound, she creates an environment that invites deep rest, reflection, and relaxation.Later in the evening, participants will have the opportunity to take part in an Angel Wash—a consensual community healing practice where individuals are supported by a small group through touch, sound, presence, and care.
