# Event Details - **Event Name**: Neal-Landguth Wetland Park Stewardship Event - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 09 Nov, 2025 at 10:00 am – Sun, 09 Nov, 2025 at 12:00 pm - **Event Description**: Join the Green Kirkland Partnership for a fun day of forest stewardship at Neal-Landguth Park!About this EventNeal-Landguth Wetland Park is a natural park featuring a forest and wetlands that provides critical wildlife habitat and water quality benefits for the Kirkland community.Volunteers will help restore this habitat by removing non-native plants such as blackberry or ivy, planting native plants (Oct-March only), and helping with stewardship tasks like mulching and weeding. With your help, this park with have healthy and thriving natural areas for years to come!The November 9, 2025 event will include planting.All experience levels and ages are welcome following the safety and event guidelines (see below). Tools and training are provided. This park is located several blocks northeast of Everest park in Kirkland.Parking is available on the street. Please be respectful of neighbors and obey all posted signage. Though we do our best to check sites prior to events for any hazards, volunteers may encounter stinging insects.
