- **Event Description**: Fife Pride are excited to be staging our first ever mini book/zine fair thanks to the lovely folks at the Windsor Hotel who have offered us their function space.
It'll be a nice chilled afternoon with the chance to browse and buy some of your favourite LGBTQ+ books, alongside special readings,workshops  and some  lovely acoustic entertainment too.

Our local Waterstones branch will be bringing a book stall stocked with all your favourites by their highly knowledgeable manager Alice.
The guys from the amazing Lighthouse Books in Edinburgh will also be over with a finely curated selection of radical queer literature.
We will also have a reading and book signing from acclaimed Aberdeen based Fife queer author ,theatre maker and folk musician Essa Flett. Essa's debut novel : No Such thing As Kelpies features witty and pointed queer re-imaginings of Scottish folklore and has been verry well received.
We'll also be chatting to Edinburgh based poet Iain Morrison.
Iain  is a poet, performer and programmer based in Edinburgh. His collection I’m a Pretty Circler was shortlisted for the Saltire Poetry Prize in 2019. He curated the poets-in-residence project Writers' Shift, writing alongside poets Janette Ayachi, Callie Gardner, Jane Goldman, and Tom Pow, and editing the resulting publication from Fruitmarket in 2022. His essay, 'Poems in Letters' about Callie Gardner's poetry, is forthcoming from the Scottish Literary Review in 2024. His events have included a night of drag queen poetry at the Scottish Poetry Library, and a week-long reading of Emily Dickinson’s complete works in a Berlin metro station. He trained as a musician and his practice moves between artforms, often ending up in a gallery.
There will be a number of Fife based Zine makers in  too and mini queer zine making workshops run by local artist,illustrator and zine maker Hazel Terry.
Acclaimed Cluny based singer-songwriter Xan Tyler will  be doing a wee acoustic set for your entertainment too .Her 2024 album Holding Up Half The Sky went to no4 on the Scottish Album Chart  and some songs from that will no doubt feature in her set.

Entry is free and there will be refreshments available at the bar.
