Ralph Fiennes’ performance as a potential English pope is compelling.  When Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with leading one of the world's most secretive and ancient events, selecting a new Pope, he finds himself at the centre of a conspiracy that could shake the very foundation of the Catholic Church.  

Conclave won a total of five film awards in 2025, including the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, four BAFTAs (Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay, and Editing), and the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay. 


Tickets for food and film £12.
We will be serving a delicious Italian lasagne with a green salad and garlic bread cooked by James Brighurst, former chef patron of Angelo’s Italian Restaurant, Appleby.  A vegetarian option will be available.
Please book food tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment!

Doors open 6pm.
Food served 6.15-6.30pm.
Film screening at 7pm.
Pay bar, raffle and interval ice-cream from the Jersey Ice Cream Farm, Melkinthorpe.
