Parents/Check-In and Out
Check-in begins at 5:30 pm
Pick-up is at 10:05 pm. All attendees need to be out of the building by 10:30 pm, unless you have volunteered to assist with the removal of decorations.

Students who are of age to drive themselves to the prom are allowed to drive themselves, but they will not be allowed to leave before the prom is over unless permission is granted by a parent or a chaperone. THIS IS FOR SAFETY REASONS.

Attendees are expected to exhibit safe and courteous behavior at all times
No running, pushing, hitting, or fighting (even if you are playing around), and no playing with or removing any prom-related props or museum exhibit materials whatsoever
Attendees are expected to keep food and drink off the dance floor. No outside food or drink (including water bottles) will be allowed inside the venue

Attendees are expected to respect all chaperones and abide by the rules.

*Absolutely no tobacco, alcohol, weapons, smoking devices, vaping, or drugs of any nature are permitted at the prom.

Dress Code
Ladies: We recognize that all bodies are unique and come in various shapes and sizes, so we will take this into consideration when approving dresses.

If you are unsure if a dress is appropriate, you may send a picture of the attendee in the dress to the Program Coordinator, Rachel Kennedy, at cmFjaGVsICEga2VubmVkeSB8IGRuY3IgISBuYyAhIGdvdg== to make sure the dress attire is okay to wear. A note about dresses: For your benefit, please make sure that your dress stays “secure” when you jump up and down, wiggle, or do any other dance move. We don’t want to see you struggle to keep your dress “in place” while you are trying to dance. You will have a much more enjoyable evening if you are not fighting with your dress all night!

Dresses should not extend higher than 3 inches above the knee.
Slits in the side or front of the dress may not come higher than 3 inches above the knee.
Dresses need to be modestly cut in the front.
The back of the dress must NOT go below a line drawn from your belly button around to the back; however, lacing on the back of the dress is permitted, provided it does not go below the belly line.
No undergarments may show.
Shoes are required to enter and exit the venue. Please be aware that many girls choose to wear comfortable Vans or other shoes rather than heels and that is okay.
Remember that this is a formal event.
No 2-piece dresses will be allowed if they do not cover the abdomen.

Gentleman: Please ensure that your clothing selections meet the rules listed below. If you are unsure if your attire meets the rules, you may send a picture of the attendee in the attire to the Program Coordinator, Rachel Kennedy at cmFjaGVsICEga2VubmVkeSB8IGRuY3IgISBuYyAhIGdvdg== or Keith Hayes at Y3NzbmV1c2VnYmEgfCBnbWFpbCAhIGNvbQ==.

A tuxedo or dress suit is preferred. Neck ties or bow ties required.
Shoes are required to enter and exit the venue. Sneakers/Converse are fine to wear. No jeans or t-shirts are allowed.

If you have any questions, please email Y3NzbmV1c2VnYmEgfCBnbWFpbCAhIGNvbQ== or call 252-526-9600, ext. 222, and speak to Rachel.
