- **Event Description**: Preston County Honor Guard Hosting Veterans Day Observance

The Preston County Honor Guard, consisting of members from all VFW Posts and the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 977, will honor veterans from all branches of service. 

The Veterans Day program will be held on the lawn of the Preston County courthouse on November 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM.

The program will include guest speakers and a traditional three-shot rifle volley TAPS and prayer for all who have served, are now serving, and those who are still missing in action. A musical tribute of patriotic songs will be performed by Lori Rankin and members of the community will provide readings.

All residents are welcome to attend to remember and honor veterans of all wars.

Working in conjunction with the support of the Preston County Commission and the residents of Preston County and the Vietnam Veterans of America chapter 977. 
Will be dedicating the completion of our Veterans sidewalk additions.
Sidewalk is constructed of Bricks Engraved with the names of Veterans from all Eras.
