Friends of the Cheat is excited to introduce the 2025 Trailhead Concert Series!
Held under the Keith Pitzer Memorial Pavilion at the Cheat River Rail Trail Trailhead in Kingwood, WV, this series will showcase a fantastic lineup of local solo artists and bands for all to enjoy.
Friday, June 13th 6-8pm will feature music by Chris Felton & Reckart Hollow. Food by Heather's Original Philly Cheesesteaks will be available for purchase.
With over 30 years of dedicated work in restoring, preserving, and celebrating the natural beauty of the Cheat River watershed, Friends of the Cheat is honored to host these community events.
In addition to live music, the events will feature food trucks, educational displays, kids' activities and crafts, and engaging workshops. Designed to bring the community together, these events are free and open to the public.
Come to at least 3 events and get your Cheat River Rail Trail passport stamped to receive a Friends of the Cheat Hydroflask! You’ll also be entered into a drawing to win a custom framed 30th Anniversary Friends of the Cheat print by Logan Schmidt. Winners will be announced at the final event.
Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for your comfort. Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be leashed and under supervision at all times.
