- **Event Description**: John’s Garden in Summer sees a glorious display of grasses, herbaceous perennials, daphnes and clematis.  A stunning selection of iris and Itoh peonies can be enjoyed in early Summer while a selection of hydrangea species are the undisputed stars of the late Summer show. The Christopher Lloyd border is vibrant with exotic foliage colour and the South African border dazzles with  kniphofias, agapanthus, eucomis and diascias.  A Mediterranean garden adds considerable interest and, throughout the garden, there are inspirational Summer patio pots to enjoy.

‘John’s Garden’ at Ashwood Nurseries is a wonderful eight acre private garden created by nursery owner John Massey VMH. Informal borders, island beds, woodland dells, a fern stumpery and wildlife garden* are set against the beautiful backdrop of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. Regarded as one of the finest private gardens in the UK, it has an abundance of rare plants as well as many familiar favourites.

-Open EVERY SATURDAY throughout the year
10am-4pm (last entrance 4pm, garden closes at 4.45pm)
-Garden Admission: £8.00
-Supporting our Charity of the Year and the Adam Greathead Award
-Tickets are available to buy on the day, pre-booking is not required.
-Children under 12 are allowed free of charge.
-Sorry no dogs are allowed in John's Garden.
