- **Event Description**: The Friends of Historic Kingston have been gracious enough to allow me to put together a dream show for the end of August!  They have been doing an amazing series at the Louw Bogardus Ruin and everyone involved for this one is very excited.

Wheatie Mattiasich (Open Mouth Records), balladeer from Baltimore returns to Kingston with Stephen Santillan for a special one-off show. I was introduced to Wheatie's music when I saw a very memorable performance at Tubby's (opening for Bill Nace) last year. This is not to be missed!

Dewan should be a much bigger name in this ugly world. This multi-instrumentalist mind blower needs no introduction in these parts and each time I have seen him has been very different and completely transfixing. Expect to be delighted.

Errant Space (Beacon)
Prolific and precise ambient slayer Craig Chin AKA Errant Space will provide the perfect soundtrack to your ruin excurision. He has been a force in the HV scene and beyond for awhile now, most recently, taking part in the Ambient showcase at LYE (here in Kingston) that was truly epic!

Otto Kentrol (Modern Harmonic)
Creative Music School alum and orchestra member Bill Ylitalo AKA Otto Kentrol has recently seen his first records (from the early 80s) lovingly reissued by the great Modern Harmonic. Iconoclastic and indescribable, this time around I believe he will once again be showcasing some of his recent inventions, and perhaps sampling some cassettes as well, and maybe sax & flutes???
