A loud and lively dance class that’s all about moving your body your way. Expect upbeat music, sweaty good vibes, and absolutely zero pressure to get it “right.”
We dance in bursts, bringing the energy up, then easing it back so you can catch your breath and keep going at your own pace. Need a break? Take one. Sitting out a song or two is completely normal here. If it feels too hard, you’re always encouraged to rest and jump back in when you’re ready.
Music is a feel-good mix of pop, with a sprinkle of dancehall, a dash of disco, some hip hop, R’n’B and the occasional splash of Latin.
This is a size-inclusive class where beginners are warmly welcome. You might feel a little out of breath and a bit unco at first — that’s completely normal, and it only gets easier (and more fun) with each class. The class is fully choreographed, but each song uses repeated movement patterns that become more familiar over time. I don’t break down the moves step-by-step, instead you’re encouraged to follow along in whatever way works for your body. There’s no “wrong” way to do it.
There are no mirrors, no judgement, and no need to wear anything fancy. Come as you are, wear what makes you feel good, and dance to the beat of your own drum. Take breaks when you need. Laugh a little. Or a lot.
Leave feeling sweaty, lighter, and lifted, with endorphins flowing and stress left behind on the floor.
