This permit allows you to carry more places than the Concealed Carry Permit or under the Tennessee permitless carry law. Also, because the Enhanced Permit is valid in 38 states, it's best for travel.

Our course is taught in our State-inspected and certified indoor shooting range. The Handgun Permit Course is open to individuals sixteen or older. However, to obtain a permit, you must be eighteen years old. Please note that applications and class certifications expire twelve months from your class. Tennessee mandates class length at eight (8) hours, excluding lunch.

In Our Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit class, you will learn the following:

• Permit qualification and application process
• Firearm safety and maintenance
• State and Federal laws relating to handgun carry
• When deadly force may be justified
• Criminal & civil ramifications of using deadly force
• Handgun and ammunition instruction*
• Firing range protocol and marksmanship
• In the Classroom: Each student must take a short written exam.
• On the Range: Each student must shoot a short course of handgun fire in our modern, clean indoor range, firing 50 rounds: 20 rounds at three yards, 20 rounds at five yards, and 10 rounds at seven yards.
• Students are NOT required to shoot the same handgun they wish to carry. Therefore, you should feel free to bring and shoot your 22LR pistol or revolver. You can also purchase the Premium Ticket, which includes a gun and ammunition.

• A handgun in safe working condition with 50 rounds of factory ammunition - no reloads, or;
• Purchase our Premium Ticket, which includes using a pistol and the ammunition you need for class.
• Comfortable clothing (ladies, please do not wear low tops because empty shell casings are very hot and can go down your shirt front).
• Pencil and paper
• We provide eye and ear protection,

• Graduates of this course receive the certification required to apply for the Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit.

In addition to using Eventbrite, you may register for a class at the store. Seating is limited, so don't wait until the last minute. If fewer than five students register, we may reschedule the class at no additional cost to you.

REFUNDS 7 DAYS BEFORE CLASS: You may request an automatic refund up until seven (7) days before class. In this case, your ticket will be refunded less the Eventbrite fee to the payment method you initially used. Or, instead of a refund, you may call and request we transfer your ticket to another class at no charge.

NO REFUNDS FOR MISSED CLASS: Tickets cannot be refunded after the refund period because the instructor is paid even if you do not attend.

HALF-PRICE MAKEUP TICKET: If you missed class, call for a discount code to buy a new ticket for a future class at half the current ticket price before any discount.
