Whether you’re brand new to Latin dance or already have some moves, there’s something for everyone and it’s totally free!
🎶 6:30 PM – 7:15 PM : Free Latin Dance Class
Learn the basics of salsa, bachata, or merengue from expert instructors. They’ll guide you through rhythm, connection, footwork, and partner work to get you dancing with confidence.
🎉 7:15 PM – 8:00 PM: Latin Line Dancing
Join a fun-filled session of Latin line dancing! No experience needed. Just follow along and enjoy the vibe.
💃 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Open Dancing: Partner & Line Dancing
The night heats up with a mix of partner and group dancing to your favourite. Come solo or with a partner and dance the night away!
Meet the Instructors
La Vida Bistrobar & Social hosts Latin dance nights and workshops featuring salsa, bachata, kizomba, reggaeton and more. Co-owner Bonnie Wannamaker brings energy and heart to every class and often teams up with Alexei Baro, a dynamic dancer and instructor known for his charisma and teaching style. Alexei leads salsa, bachata and Zumba with a mix of fun and skill that gets everyone moving.
DANSANI Dance Company offers Latin, Ballroom, Kizomba and Afro-Beats classes in Kingston. Founder Nomsa Mngoma is an award-winning dancer with international experience and a deep love of movement and community.
