Building Iman by Putting 'Ilm (Knowledge) into Amal (Action)

Mission: 
To provide children ages 7-11 (Grades 2-6) an opportunity to come together, build strong Islamic identity and leadership skills and work towards establishing an environment of care and compassion for themselves and their peers.

Goals:  
- Establish a genuine love for Islam and our community
- Promote a confident Canadian Islamic identity to with strong leadership skills

Registration Fee: $30/child for the year, to be paid on-site on the first day. (The fee helps cover the costs of running the program. However, we understand that some may find it difficult to make payments. If you need financial assistance, please contact Mona Rahman at: MNRahman@tricolour.queensu.ca.)

Sessions are held on alternate Sundays starting on September 21, 2025, Insha Allah, and begin half a hour after Dhuhr. Thus, from September to November sessions are from 2-3:30 pm. We encourage children to come pray Salat-ul-Dhuhr with their parents at the masjid beforehand if they can, Insha Allah.
