- **Event Description**: Based in Nipaluna/Hobart, Handsome Molly will take you on an acoustic journey through folk, country and blues originals and covers. This trio draws from a well of personal and third person experience. They present a combination of thoughtful, atmospheric songs and toe-tapping tunes, through warm vocal harmonies and a sense of fun. The combination of cello, guitar and banjo drives an original and rich sound. The band have performed at festivals such as The Cygnet Folk Festival and the Evandale Verandah Festival as well as gigs all over Tasmania allowing them to delight audiences around the state.

Tony Waller is a singer songwriter, guitar, banjo and harp player, storyteller extraordinaire, and a man of many talents. He brings his love of the open road and wide-open spaces to his song writing with earthy vocals and a sense of mischief.

Singer songwriter and guitarist, Natalie Frohmader’s smouldering but powerful vocals and complex harmonies will take you to heaven and back while her clean and crisp guitar playing lays down a strong foundation for the band.

Rachel Page loves to explore a variety of non-traditional styles on the cello. Her vocal harmonies weave seamlessly with Natalie’s as she adds her expressive and sonorous cello sound to the band’s originals and covers.

Handsome Molly are proud to support Inscape and choose to donate a percentage of their performance fee to ensure the continuation of Inscape’s work providing music and art experiences for patients in health care settings around Hobart.

At last, the Kunanyi Folk Club have succeeded in snaring them for the May Folk Club show.
