1999 Pan American Games Silver Medalist – Captured silver in Winnipeg, losing only to Cuba's future Olympic champion Odlanier Solís in the final.

AIBA World Ranking #5 (1997) – Ranked fifth in the world at heavyweight after an impressive performance at the World Championships in Budapest, where he defeated American contender DaVarryl Williamson before losing to legendary three-time Olympic gold medalist Félix Savón in the quarterfinals.

Canada internationally in more than 20 countries.
